http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1668358163 I really liked the watch, was going to bid, and got scared off at the last second when I noticed the corrosion on the back of one lug and on the side of the caseback. With 30 min left to go, not enough time to have seller send more detailed photos... Didn't want to risk it without movement shots. Anyone here buy it? Nice looking panda anyways. |

I didn't see anything worrisome about that Navitimer so it sold for a fair price. Usually it's dirt behind the lugs and around the crown and sellers often don't take clean them up before listing. If you overanalyze whether these have the correct movement or not (no pic) then you'll most likely lose out because 99% of the time they do and they're easy to fix or part out if not. |

I know the guy who bought this and advised him to purchase. The seller was very firm on a 2.6k BIN and I told him I felt with such a high buy in bid it would scare most off and he could get for 2.4/2.5k and was right. The seller was asked to sell offline for 2.5k and save the near $300 in fees but refused. I feel it is a very honest piece and a good buy at the selling price. He does not know it yet but.... Craig will be getting a call for the service as I have adviced the new owner that he is the MAN for job. Wayne |

That's good advice Vintage, thanks. Not typically worried about the movement, especially when the seller seems honest and with the PayPal purchase protection being what it is. You could easily argue the piece's authenticity if it has a sketchy movement. (I've had two recent experiences/returns where PP was extremely helpful against sketchy sellers) |

Surely Craig has enough business - don't make the queue even longer!! ![]() Kidding of course. I would never have found Craig either without the generous recommendations of the board members. |
