Hello,
I bought this 1950's 17 jewel Breitling automatic on e-Bay for $220 & have worn it daily. It has run & kept time perfectly, but is a little small for my taste (my 1st Breitling was a Super Ocean). Now I have someone offering me $300 for it and it made me wonder what exactly it's value is. Can anyone tell me?
Also any other general info on it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all!
ps - I couldn't figure out how to post a photo, so I put a link to photobucket, I hope this is OK.

I moved to the vintage section and cleaned up the links.

I am on phone so can't see the pictures too clearly, are there any numbers on the case back?

China was my immediate reaction too, just reluctant to commit to bad news like that based on phone pics.

None on the outside; I didn't open because I have no idea what I am doing + it's been working & keeping time perfectly.
The seller I bought it from has over 1,000+ watch sales with a 99.7% positive feedback which is why I feel it's not a reproduction - but I've been wrong before. Do all Breitlings have a serial # on their back casing (I can't remember if my Super Ocean did)?

yes, it is. several sellers, all in China, all using the same "17 jewels vintage swiss" description, all (sorry) quite worthless junk.
seller will happily accept a return & will refund you - and then resell the piece to the next guy who doesn't come here to check.
