Hello Everyone,

Can anyone verify if this is reall? My experience only shows them as having twin planes on the back and a different style dial.

It's all I have, re pictures !!!

I personally have not seen such, mine has the twin plane case back and the typical dial setup. Sorry no images, it lives at the bank.

the 1970s 3-hands are totally undocumented - I have tried, but found no 3-hand listed in any catalog after the approx. 1965 Uhren Trautmann catalog from Germany. Breitling did produce some strange watches (and markings or missing markings) during the last years, so for me no way to call this one.

I saw this just as I was going into a meeting but no time to post. Personally I think that this is real - or at least partially real. There are vintage chronometers, although they are uncommon and this just 'feels' right - I know that sounds weird but you guys that have seen a lot of vintage pieces know what I mean. The apparently short serial number is a bit of a worry (although that may be the photo) and I don't understand the SUSPENSE, but everything looks to be original and it looks right for a caseback of the era. Would like to find the brevet / patent number and will search for that, but I think that this is a bit of a find.

I hate to say it again but I wish there was an image of the movement. I do like Roff's opinion on this and agree that it does "feel" right.

The "suspense" is what's in the inside . . .

Color me dubious, but if someone can make up a dial print as accurate as that, we're in big trouble. I'm leaning towards it being a re-cycled dial.
