Hi everyone,

I am as they say a newbie to this forum. I have recently bought a 7101 bullhead Pupitre which was on a newer breitling strap. I would love to get hold of an original bracelet, but can't find any photos or reference to them. If they exist, I would like to hear your thoughts.

Many thanks

Paul.

That's the only original bracelet that I've seen on these too, no idea whether anyone is producing / supplying NOS bracelets in that style any more though.

It definately looks like an nsa. Squiny carries NSA NOS and has multiple different end links. He is great to work with.

Here an NSA I got from Squinky for a 592. He will add and take off links as needed.

Thanks so much evryone for your quick replies. Look forward to seeing any more scans you may have. I am obviously not at all disappointed with the leather strap but would like ultimately to get the original bracelet if possible.

Cheers

Paul.

Shall post pics of my Pupitre this weekend . I have chosen a black Tropic with double plane B buckle . In Breitling catalogs of the period you can see many models fitted with a Tropic . Affordable , quite easy to find and 100% period correct.

There is a metal strap seen on Pupitre and pictured in the Benno Richter . I have had 3 of them 5-6 years ago and stupidely sold them without thinking that further I would regret not having kept one for a Pupitre

Great, I wanted to see photos of "in the flesh" watches and bracelet / strap options. I love the tropic and am just going now to order one.

Cheers

Paul.

I bought this NOS from the bay. Not OEM but in keeping with the style. The NATO below was a pleasant surprise

Great photos. The NATO looks like the one supplied with the Tudor Heritage Chrono. It fits perfectly with the orange hand.

Thanks

Paul.

It realy does look like my 7101 Pupitre in the photo at the top of the page is pretty much NOS. My additional question is - the bezel is super shart and jet black outer ring. I see a lot of Pupitre's and Pult's with a brown bezel, are these simply faded or a factory part. Basically is the black bezel on mine true to the watch which has a 137#### serial.

Look forward to any thoughts. Thanks again.

Paul

As far as I know, the rotating bezel is brown for brown dial Pults and dark blue for blue dial Pults - either for 7101 or 2117 versions . I have got 4 different NOS case + dial + parts in the series 1371xxx and I am pretty sure of that . Maybe the bezel on your watch has been changed for a wrong color? It is easy to change, just clipped on the case .

Thanks saabreit,

We're can I get a correct bezel? Or do I have to source a full case?

Cheers

Paul.
