Nothing says love like a chronograph. Small and perfectly formed at 27.5mm!
Also pretty rare from my experience.

sweet. can not read the serial no., mid 40s ?

any idea which movement these had, even 11 ligne must have been too big for it, maybe Valjoux 69 ?

What is the model of this watch? This is the type of watch my father would like.

too small, Shawn, even small for a ladies watch. the 178s are 34mm, anything smaller than that would probably look strange imho.

gotcha :o

let me add a pic and some info for this movement, as it is quite rare:

smallest chronograph movement produced by Valjoux
10.5 ligne or 23.35mm, only 5.65mm high
spare parts seem almost impossible to get afaik, though

Yaffle :D

It actually would make a great vintage ladies watch, but the ladies do not seem to have *any* interest in Vintage watches , at least not mine , and if they have they wear rolex sports watches :(

Regardless on how small it is. This is an awesome looking watch! Personally, I am leaning towards Vintage watches. I will still buy a new one, but honestly, the older watches just have something about them that make me like a kid in a candy store!

I may try and locate one to purchase for my wife just to see if she may be interested in it...if not, my uncle is a cabinet maker, I will have him build me a case with lights to put on my wall in my den to show off the watches I buy!
