They're essentially the entry level models.

Don't get me wrong, though. My 2002 is still my favorite. It took me almost 10 years to get the exact one I wanted with box and papers.

There isn't much info out there specifically about them. The Israeli Breitling club has pics of most models.

The TopTime line came into being sometime around the early Sixties.

My impression from advertising copy is that Breitling were trying to create a more youthful and fashionable line of watches that might appeal to a younger market who may not be that interested in the tool watch
elements of their existing lines.

Probably a great idea for them at the time, however had they called there three register toptime (which has the Venus 178 movement) the "Brands Hatch", they might have a different value now.

To me this looks like a Top Time 810 in this pic, although I had heard it was a Co-Pilot too, never checked, but where is the bezel ?

Its a AVI / Co-Pilot
the subdials are larger than the toptimes and even uneven in size if you look closely
I think the bezel (polished SS) is just hrd to see in the B/W pic ?

I'll take the watch, they can keep the outfit! Mine is a 1967 that was sold new in 1970. They certainly weren't flying off the shelves!

FAAAANTASTIC documents Dracha. Never seen them before. Love the copy on it.

Do you know where they are from? Do you have a date of publication?
