Your pics should not exceed a specific size.

I think yes, provided it's a USA retailed piece, so would need the AOPA logo.

Not 100% ok with Buddman , the answer is not such binary !
Wakmann was the Breitling distributor for US market so the box matches a Breitling watch with WOG export on the chrono bridge , provided it is period correct with the box .
Not all Navi's sold on US market were AOPA .
Breitlings sold by Wakmann on US market were not exclusively Navi's .
AOPA Breitlings were not exclusively Navi's .

Not sure we can be so sure, Still thought from Kurts research that Navis at that time in in the us were AOPA-exclusive, and non-AOPA elsewhere. Unbranded wings came in late 50s/early 60s . Also the box refers to Aviation so most likely Navis, but AVIs a possibility I guess.. Anyway, the OPs question was is this a box for 50s Navis and the answer is "yes".

It's really not just black & white, and I don't think anybody can say for sure which box was original to which Navitimer, as I'm pretty certain that a dealer would box a Navitimer in any Wakmann box he had available, and back then it didn't matter a lot.

The pictured box is by no doubt one of the nicest Navitimer boxes ever made, but to the best of my knowledge, it was never used in conjunction with the 50's black AOPA Navitimers.

The earliest Navitimers I have seen with that box, is from app 1964, hence - black & white.

However - if I was ever being offered a 1950's Navitimer in a box like this one, then I'd be happy to take it, as it definitely have some value to any Navitimer, and it still is a Wakmann box.

The most common box for Navitimers from the 50's is the below.
