Post subject:  On those Heuers at Bonham's . . .

That's quite a beautiful collection. I made a very quick tour and am I right that there were not many older pieces (age being relative, of course)? It seemed the oldest was from the early 1960s.

Okay. I'm a Breitling collector, but I suspect that I'm not the only one packing a fair number of Heuers, too. Am I alone?

From what I've read he focused on the Heuer's directly related to motorsports. I think you're right
there aren't any much before the Sixties.

I don't have any Heur's in my collection unfortunately. My one regret was passing up an early pilots heuer with
a rotating coin edge bezel. It was just a shade to small, but in hindsight...

I hope to go to the sale though, or at least the viewing and check it out.

There was an interesting article on it in the FT (UK) this weekend.
