Post subject:  Looking for Information

Hi, new here. I have a Breitling Premier that had been my Dad's. I have little information about this watch and am looking for help. It is stamped 788 and the s/n is 584309. All I've found so far is the s/n indicates it's from the mid 40s. Can Breitling provide any additional info, or are there other potential sources? Thx

This site can provide all the info you need on this watch but not without pictures including the movement.

Unfortunately, I dont' have pics and it's not currently in my possession. A local dealer sent it to the Breitling service center and I'm waiting to hear from them. Chose this option because the dealer's watchmaker said it's authentic and the movement is in very good shape.

Breitling will want at least $700.00+ to service your watch - WAY TOO MUCH by any normal standards. Possibly more that its worth? Better search for some options or you WILL be ripped off.

Agree with Craig, and trust me, he can do the work for a lot less money.

In terms of the watch, can't say much more without pictures other than that it's a 1945 three register chrono with a Venus 152 movement.

If you want quality service, send it to Craig... he services pretty much all of our vintage pieces...

I just haven't had any lately to send to him... :( :(

Finally got around to taking some pics after it was serviced by a local watchmaker. Sorry about the lack of a pic of the movement and the quality.

Looks like a pretty nice 1945 Premier. Should have a Venus 152 inside.
