Hi guys, it's my first post here, so try to be nice... :nana:

Here are some pictures of a vintage 1940's Chronomat I found locally. The pictures are not all that clear, but are there any red flags that I might have missed that screams "fake!"? I've been told by the seller that the crown, crystal and band are aftermarket, but do any of you guys have any insights as to the authenticity of this watch?

Thanks for the heads up.
I see the mods have already moved it over. They're really on the ball here!

Not the greatest photos, but it looks OK from what I see with a couple of caveats.

The subdial hands aren't original, and the dial is in very good condition, which makes you think that it has been redone. Additionally, the slide rule numbers don't look very refined, which again makes me wonder about the originality of the dial.

Serial dates to 1945.

May be a repainted dial, but everything ok.
