the only previous owner, it is a 1st generation Navitimer / Cosmo from 1962, and very very rare, I have only seen 4-5 of them.

It has the "wider" bezel that only the Cosmo's from 1962 had (see picture).

That's really nice Kurt - these early Cosmos are among my favourites.

In my opinion the 1962 Cosmo's, black/ black or black white, are the most beautiful ones of them all, that wide bezel just adds so much to the watch, they are rare and cool like h...

I have 1 black / black, and 3 black white ones.....

I'm sure that behind the cracked crystal, there is a very good conditioned watch with a flawless dial, I'll post pictures of it when I get it, but unfortunately it won't be before on 5-6 month :(

1 owner, unpolished, and it has spend it's last 15 years in a drawer........

While the watch lovers in us hate the fact that so many of these watches are lying in drawers forgotten about, they undoubtedly survive much better for it.

I have a pocket watch (non Breitling) that spent over 100 years wrapped up in a box of personal effects passed from generation to generation and it still looks mint thanks simply to that fact.

Oils had broken down though
