Anyone know if these hands are correct? And if anything else is "different"? \

I compared it with the one from Old World and the caliber movement and the hands are totally different... don't know if the reference number 7808 and just "808" would make it different?

Totally correct (and totally different to a 7808).

Read the description carefully though - chrono doesn't work and it is not keeping accurate time.

Excuse me Roff, but this watch is absolutly not correct. It has a Venus 188 calibre, that was never in this watch, it is a frankenwatch.

The correct Chronomat 808 has always a Venus 175.

The guy that's selling this watch probably has the best collection of authentic vintage Breitling's I've ever seen. He's also a watchmaker. He sells parts every once and a while and watches that don't fit his needs. If he says the 188 was an option in the 808 I would tend to believe him until proven otherwise. Breitling did put the Valjoux 72 and the 7736 in the Navitimer too didn't they?

If he is watchmaker, why he dont repairs this watch ? May be, it never works with a Venus 188 in this case ?

I stand by my analysis - perfectly correct.

The watch is from 1965, 1965 Breitling had plenty of Venus 175 movements.

Why should Breitling in 1965 put a Venus 188 into this watch ?

And since 1965 Breitling didnt used the Venus 188, they used the same Valjoux 7730 signed movement.

The Valjoux 72, 7736,has been fitted in the Navitimer in either 1954 or after 1967, but never 1965 .
