Put together watch. Should be a Cal 12 with the gilded movement. Notice the date is sideways which is another indicator that the movement came from a 'normal' configuration Cal 12. The Pult cases are commonly found on ebay nos so it's a simple matter to find a donor watch like a Gruen, Bulova, Kelek, etc, that came with the same basic movement and reengineer it into a different case. They always forget about the date wheel though. :P

I'm not so sure Paul.........

If you read the movement not as 112 but as 11-2 then the movement makes sense. 11-2 was the fast beat (3Hz) caliber 11 and the only visual difference between that and the 12 was the nickel plating finish vs. the gilded movement. I'm not familiar with the 2117, but...... http://www.breitling.org.il/site/detail ... D7%9D+2117

I can't read the serial number, but if it's 1970 / early 71 then the 11-2 could be a correct movement.

But the movement reads as a "112" there's no dash... and that stamping looks a bit odd... but that's an interesting bit about the 11-2 movement... didn't know such a movement existed...

A credible example now Roff. Scan down at this link.

The gilded movement Cal 12 was the fast version of the Cal 11. Never heard of a Cal 112 before. Plus the fact it says that in the machined slot would also give me pause. I also don't think Breitling would have used light blue hands on a blue dial either. The date wheel sideways is always a good indicator though.

The calibre 11-2 exist, and its ok with no dash between 11 and 2, but i never saw one with gilded bridge.

But the watch is a complete mariage as Paul said. The Pult was first time created in 1971, but the calibre 11-2 was used only middle of 1969 not 1971 as Roff said, at the end of 1969 Breitling used only the calibre 12. And the date is rotated by 90 degrees.

For completly information about the calibre 11, 11-, 12, 14, 15, please read more here: http://breitling.lu/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=29

I'm not sure on the machined bridge either - definitely cause for question - and the TZ link seals it for me that you are correct.

The 11-2 is correctly portrayed as 112 (though that doesn't make it right), Jean-Michel has a good summary in the Chrono-matic section of www.navitimer.net
