Is anyone familiar with model 4509? 18K gold, single dial, manufactured in 1962 or 1963?

I'm away from home for a while so don't have access to my books but from memory it's a simple baton marker dial, round case, mid sized. I think it was around for more than a couple of years.

Can't remember the movement - manual I think.

You are correct on all accounts. Is it possible to get a replacement crown (not plastic)? I am considering purchasing it - the movement was checked out in NYC by a very reputable place. Its really is an attractive timepiece.

Breitling logo crowns are hard to come by. I know of a dealer that claims to have 'gold coloured' metal B crowns, but they never seem to have any in stock. You'll get a crown easily enough, but the B logo crown will likely be harder - especially matching up the tube hole size and tap.

If you want a piece of mind opinion on the watch you can throw some pictures up on here and the experts can validate.
