Hello,
Have some of you an idea of where I could find a crown for a 1965 765 AVI, to replace the completely unauthentic one already on the watch ?

eBay I suspect. I would think same size as a Navi would do (6.8m or so). Note that most of the crowns on eBay are not correct - there should be 32 teeth in the crown.

I tried EBay, unsuccessfully... But I was looking for a crown for 765 specifically.
I’ll try with crown for Navitimer.
Any reference of the same period would fit ? (806, 809)

I should think so. Same movement and case size almost the same too.

It does take a while to find correct crowns these days. Here are a couple. Might want to check the tap size which I think is 11.

Does it alter the « value » of the watch to change the crown for non completely authentic ?

If these fit I’m not sure you’d be able to tell. I can’t imagine a crown would affect value unless it was very specific for a watch, or it was horrid.
