I have viewed all the Breitling images I can find and checked most of the books on Breiting, to no avail so am going to the experts. I am trying to identify the following watch: under Breitling on dial it says Geneve; at the 6 o'clock position it says 17 jewels Incabloc; this is above a date window. The watch has a second's subdial at 9; a red stop watch sweep hand; a stop watch subdial (registering up to 30 minutes) at the 3 o'clock position. The hour batons are raised and luminescent. It has a hinged back that opens to reveal the inner workings where Breitling is stamped on the movement. Around the case are 3 knobs at the 3 o'clock side of the watch. The middle for setting time, date and winding, the one above for initiating the stop watch and the one below to reset the stop watch. The dial face could be described as brushed silverish in appearance. I can discern no further markings or etchings this includes upon the inner or outer back case. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated..Thank you

Welcome to the site. Absolutely excellent description. If you happen to have some pictures they would be invaluable as an aid in identification. Would that be possible?

No serial numbers or other identifying markings that I can observe (I have not done a 'tear apart' on the inner workings as I acknowledge my own limitations).

Looks to me like maybe a recased Breitling 7734 movement and dial from the early 70's but tough to say because I can't see the detail. Definitely nothing like this came from the Breitling factory.

Yup, looks like a custom job using perhaps a pocket watch case with some lugs soldered on. From Poland, maybe?
Best,
T.

Don't think that it's a pocket watch case - that would be odd given the pushers and crown - easier to just find a case that fits, but agree with everyone that it's not a real Breitling, or more accurately, not a complete Breitling.

Well, to all who have replied, Thank You! I kinda thought it was too 'original' to be legit. Oh, well..it'll make for a decent watch to wear when working out...... Thank you again.
