So how did you like Rogue One? I think it's worth it just for the new Droid K-2SO, he's hilarious!

I really loved it! I thought it was much more gritty and adult than previous Star Wars movies, and the end was superb. Without giving away any spoilers, there were a couple of bits of not quite 100% convincing CGI - anyone who's seen it will know the two bits I'm talking about  - but that was a minor issue for me. I think it's the best Star Wars movie since Return of the Jedi.

Agree with you about the CGI bits. Not totally convincing but still giving us the much needed vintage Star Wars feel. What will they be able to do with CGI in 10-20 years is beyond me!

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Was def geeking out over the latter parts with links to Ep IV. For me though I enjoyed The Force Awakens a fair bit more. Literally cant wait for Ep VIII and the other stand alone flicks. Loving it!

I thought it was outstanding and really enjoyed it; thought the story was fantastic and a nice prequel to the original series. I think my favorite part was seeing a lot of the old characters; really a nice theme. Definitely my favorite since the original 3 and can't wait for more. Good stuff!

Hey all,

Well, my wife and I saw it a few day's ago.

We both really enjoyed the action, and the story leading to the classic first movie.

I'd say wait and see it on your big OLED screen at home as it'll be sharper (I hope.) than the picture at the cinema.

Know what? You could not waste two hours having much more fun.

No, be good chaps.

D

I'm assuming Rogue One is a movie.
