I started a lawncare company this past summer, and decided I need to do some plowing in the winter to keep the money rolling in, so I got a plow. It's going to be my first season plowing so I'm a bit nervous however I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in time. Just wanted to see anyone else's set up and I'll take any suggestions as to technique! Thanks! :)

I'm sure Roff has a bit of experience in that regard, living in deepest darkest Canada!

Yeah, but not in anything that small, it's almost cute. Must be one of those lower 48 US plow trucks. :poke:

Where we are the township looks after the paved roads with multi-wing industrial plow / salter trucks. Gravel concessions are covered by them eventually but all of the animal farmers have plows on their trucks - mostly one tonnes or larger and have cleared by then to get to their barns. My driveway is either a tracked walk behind blower for the light storms or my 4x4 tractor for the heavy storms.

Yeah, I live in Southern Maine, so for what I'm going to be doing it suits my needs. Ross and Wessa could rip my Tundra in half with your rigs! BTW that Silver Spur is probably heavy enough to get the job done!

plowing snow ?

although were are between Calgary and Edmonton latitude wise (52 degrees) we hardly get any snow
few inches a year and its mostly gone within a week . So the salt truck will do the roads a few times and all is well :)

If I had to live in that kind of weather, I would get plowed more nights a week than that :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

Yeah a ton. It's been warm here so far. I'm waiting for the lakes to freeze over for some ice fishing too!
