Hey guys,
Since I'm still waiting on my Breitling to arrive, I have an off-topic question..
My wife and I will have our 15 year anniversary in two weeks, for this occasion I want to surprise her. Since we go to Cologne, Germany, I wanted to surprise her with pearl jewels. Now I found brand, Mesenso, also active in Germany.
Is one of you familiar with this brand, and knows if they can deliver in Germany?

I removed the link in your post because I am sure that you wouldn't want people to think that you were spamming. You appear to be in Germany already so may well be in a better position to answer that question yourself. Congratulations on your 15th anniversary - quite an achievement for a 29 year old!

It's good to see that half-anniversaries are now getting the recognition they thoroughly deserve in the celebration industry.

Well I believe it. 100%. Honest.

It's not that special apparently - the stuff that the OP wants to buy is low end cultured stuff and the company seems to spend most of its time spamming forums to promote itself. Hard to believe I know!

Thats a very mature answer..
my sincere apologies if my first question was misunderstood, but let us tolerate each others habits.

You asked what was wrong with celebrating every six months, nothing is wrong with that if that is what you like, but calling it an anniversary would be technically incorrect if you are basing it on the definition on the word.

An anniversary in my mind and many others is something that should be cherished. This comes but once a year. When you start to dilute and celebrate every 6 months, 5 weeks, 14 days etc. it just does not have the same meaning. A year is a significant amount of time to be measured. The definition of anniversary is as follows :

1) a date that is remembered or celebrated because a special or notable event occurred on that date in a previous year
2)Middle English anniversarie, from Medieval Latin anniversarium, from Latin, neuter of anniversarius returning annually, from annus year + versus, past participle of vertere to turn

The word is based off of "annual" which means once a year.

Therefore I stand by my "very mature answer"... and honestly don't ask questions that you don't want the answer to.

Happy half Anniversary, I hope your wife enjoys the gifts.
