Wow! That's pretty cool. :D Looks a lot like the outfit Tom Cruise wears in the forthcoming "All You Need Is Kill" - amazing how real life follows sci-fi.

The US makes all the cool stuff, while our British Army lads struggle to even get a decent helmet. :|

+1!

My friend who was paralyzed from the chest down has been working very closely with Berkeley Bionics -- the civilian version exoskeleton.

Really exciting technology!

Is Alan in that Youtube video your buddy, H2F? Seems like a pretty amazing guy.

I have to say, it always truly astonishes me to see how positive some people can be in the face of adversity, and seeing something like that and how moved the guy is to be able to stand and walk a few steps, it should make all of us who are fortunate enough to be able-bodied be so thankful we aren't in that position. As I say he seems like a pretty amazing guy and I really hope the technology works out to be able to help him and others in that terrible situation of being paralysed.

Alan "Hammer" is the bugger downunder, the spiritual role model for many Ristis around the world :D. Years ago when I was into TaeKwonDo, the tenet "indomitable spirit" was drilled over & over and Alan truly is indomitable spirit personified. I've never actually meet the bloke, just interactions in the forum & emails over the years, but yes I consider him a buddy. In fact, he'll be flying in to Singapore in October and quite a few of us from all over South East Asia will be flying in for the epic Hammer GTG party . Appreciate the positive thoughts Driver! :D
