I've done some thing I thought I'd never do! Own an estate.

I bought, well my wife bought, an estate or tourer.

As title I guess, family matters!

Nice car!

I so very nearly bought an estate recently, white Mazda 6 Sport

Then my wife reminded me we don't' have a family, or a need for an estate, as I own a fleet of vans...

So I ended up with an RCZ, which I have to say I totally love. Soooo much fun to drive.

Enjoy driving that, it's very sleek looking.

Those estates are popular in Europe but far less so in the US. Not sure why, they seem practical, but here they are few and far between. Pickup trucks are the opposite.

My previous vehicle was a Touring Peugeot 307. Very comfortable and huge load space as an estate. They called it the 307SW in Europe, but apparently that did not stand for Station Wagon!\ Not sure what it was meant to mean but it sold here in Austrlia as the Touring. Never the less, all names aside, it was a great car all round.

Not sure if the Lion brand will ever return to the US, but I hear that there are many Columbo types in the US who are rusted on Peugeot drivers. I think they left the US market in about 1985 or so. Any updates on that?

I think the reason for low sales in the US is they look like station wagons which is passé now but like everything else will make a comeback someday!

Thanks. I got the spec I required quickly and really, it drives really well.

For the size of the car it gets 45 to 50 mpg with fuel at e1.60 p/l and much more in the UK, £1.65 I think, that counts.
