I was thinking about this. I wanted to buy a $400 outdoor research jacket, the guy had 0 feedback, but I was able to get the jacket for $250, everyone else on ebay was selling the same jacket for $400, the same exact price the store was selling it for. Few days later I got the brand new jacket and all was well. This made me think though, what's wrong with buying from a 0 feedback seller? If the item doesn't come, or if it's a scam, doesn't paypal have your back? |

Because it's a hassle, you can be without the funds for months, and you can lose. |

My wife was recently sold a fake Tiffany bracelet and while Ebay/ Paypal have sided with us, we're still out for postage both ways (i think), not to mention the hassle, nerves and let down. This can happen with a 600 feedback seller, but it's just less likely. |
