Nice one. Can you post pics of the other ones in your collection? Any Microtechs in the lot, btw? I collect knives as well.

I don't collect knives but do appreciate them when beautifully crafted.

I have a KA-BAR Maserin KM 240-T which I carry when working. Just for the odd job which needs a good blade.

By the way Flynbyu it's OK to carry a folding pocket knife in public, in the UK.............as long as the blade doesn't exceed 3 inches.

Understandable when there's a stabbing death in just about every news programme.

Ewen, don't become too appreciative of these things. Remember - you live in Britain, which means that even thinking about knives will cause the ecomony to crumble and civilization as we know it to come to an end. I hear the government is planning to promote baby food for adults so that they can stop ALL cutlery being used.

No, in all seriousness, the state of knife crime in this country is getting out of hand and something needs to be done. However, I read today that yet another offender caught openly carrying a knife has walked free from the courts. Surely the key is to SERIOUSLY punish offenders rather than impose yet more nanny-state restrictions across the board.

If too many people run around with knifes, You need to buy a gun!

Or the otherway round: Never go to a gunfight, only armed with a knife.

Not the knife is the problem, the person using it is the problem. If You forbid knifes, they will use another weapon. We just had a case, where a man who has killed 5 people (all his family) with a hatchet, as it was cheaper than a gun...
