Further to Driver8's post on Farnborough, same sort of question - anyone going to RIAT Fairford this year?

I'll be there as usual on the Saturday (12 July) so if anyone wants a get together at the Breitling tent, we could try and plan something.

Let's hope for good weather again like last year!

I'll be there!!
If I remember correctly, if you wear your Breitling, you can get in to their Hospitality Tent free of charge.

Might have to see if I can get myself there this year.

Correct :D

There's usually a small selection of watches to look at, refreshments and a nice garden area to sit in. Gets busy by the afternoon so if you want a seat, get in early.

I was there last year, it was great. Free beer, free Breitling baseball caps, free books and all served up by some rather good looking Breitling promotion girls! :D

Jeez - if you wear everything in your signature they'll probably give you a jet or something (More likely give you help getting back to your car - don't you find your arms are longer now after wearing that lot?)

One show I would love to attend.

I was at our local show here this past weekend.

I'll have some shots up later....

I'll be going on the Saturday. went a few years ago when the B2 stealth bomber was flying. Hope the F22 Raptor is flying, also i've heard a rumour that the Avro Vulcan will be there, it was the idea of free beer that convinced me :!:

The F-22 will be flying.

Vulcan XH558 is not confirmed as yet but it has always been intended that it has it's clearance to display for Fairford.

Just looked at RIAT Fairford site and Avro Vulcan XH 558 has been granted a permit to fly for the first time in 16 years, should be appearing both days.
Hope to see some of you guys in the Breitling tent :D

Nice, we just had a B17 fly in to our local airport from the States. 'Liberty Belle' night-stopped before heading down south. What a beautiful aircraft!
