I got this baby yesterday and I am loving it! I can't believe how thin it is!!! Feels like I could shave with it!!! And so amazingly light!

It's also very cool and quite, can barely tell if its on if not for the light on switch when the super bright LCD is off. Performance is way better than the specs would leed you to believe, it seems to struggle with 1080P ultra large files set at very high resolutions but other than that its pretty snappy.

I have to say I am finding Leopard very appealing, in fact I would forgo installing Vista altogether if I could install .NET on MAC OS X for coding.

Congratulations - I like the design, but can't get over the idea of not having a CD/DVD drive...I fully understand why this is, but as I prefer things 'built in' I'm going to have to stick with the MacBook Pro - the new one has the same LED screen and touchpad too.

Leopard is fast innit!! Good choice :D

Agreed the fact that it does not have a built in dvd drive, ethernet port and dedicated graphics card means it is not for everyone. But it fits my needs perfectly. I was going to buy the tiny external drive but since I can use any PC or Mac and read their drives (wow) makes it a non-issue for me.

I also got a brand new Nikon D40x and the amazing 18-200MM Nikkor VR Lens, so expect some new improved watch pics soon :D

I was under the impression that even with the Apple software loaded onto a PC (for example) that you couldn't read DVDs or even music CDs from another drive wirelessly...but that it would only work to install programmes etc.

I have not tried watching a movie or reading a music CD wirelessly, but since that feature is there by default if you allow multimedia sharing, it should work here as well.

The commercials are cool, but I'm not a big fan of Macs.

I've been on PC for 20 years, and cracking a Mac is like reading Chinese for me.

I've been forced into using Macs at work, and its difficult when I am used to a PC.. mostly the behaviour of the windows, taskbar and keyboard shortcuts are confusing.. productivity goes down.. but hey, they're the ones that want to force me to switch. 90% of the people in my office are mac users.. they go with the technology trends, whether they are short-lived or not.

Go back to using windows for ten minutes and Macs will not seem so bad afterall

I have been a Windows sufferer all my life, quite glad I made the switch.

I've been a Mac guy for about six years now and I cannot stand to touch a windows machine. I can do more in the time it takes one of those things to boot up... in fact, I can boot mine up, check me email, send a quick reply and put my Mac back to sleep before a windows machine will even wake up!!!
