Just created this forum.. just wondering if the Breitling nuts around here have any other passions besides watches?

I'm into Home Audio/Hi-fi and custom made tactical knives.

My main interests (besides staring at my watch) are solving Mathematics problems with a computer (I am a Matlab addict), general programming, economic theory, the stock market, fishing and shooting. I own a Browning Hi Power (in .40), a Kahr MK40, an old SKS and a .338 Alaskan Magnum. I am also into wood working (just a beginner) and hiking in the huge mountains outside the town where I live. I had to drive 200 miles to find an AD, but it was worth it!

I guess it's a North America / Europe divide kind of thing.

Apart from watches, I'm also pretty much into anything fast. Fast cars, fast motorbikes, etc. I'm a huge BMW fan - I'm in an M3 phase at the moment (It's been quite along phase! ) Really want to learn to fly too, but not sure I fancy being a learner at something again! That and the fact that I seem to keep spending my hard-earnered money on Breitlings!

Well just to be a little different....... I race sled dogs. Nothing serious like the Iditarod, I have Alaskan Malamutes (like huskies only much bigger) and do sprint races of 20 miles or less.

Also having an internal debate about whether to spend my mid life crisis with a Harley or learning to fly. I think the flying might win because I am planning to move into the Canadian wilderness when I don't need to be clos to Toronto for work and run some kind of vacation retreat.

My passion since childhood (many, many years ago!) is aviation.

It was the adverts for Breitling in the programmes at airshows which got me wanting to own a Breitling.

I learnt to fly back in the '80s and can use the E-6 circular slide rule but these days, my eyesight means that Navitimer style adornments to watches are strictly for show rather than practical use

I used to race motorcross but have put that hobby away after starting a family. Now I work in the motocross industry. I am also mildly addicted to guitar hero. But since the purchase of my SA I mostly stare at it!
