and what is your top 3 bands/artist?

my intrests are a bit paradoxical! as i span the spectrum from grind core heavy metal all the way to easy listining new age kind of music

but i would say that my favorite genre is Hard Rock and my top three bands/artists are:

1-Pink Floyd (and of course anything by Roger Waters and David Gilmour)
2-Dead Can Dance
3-Camel

I'd perhaps change that to 'early' Genesis...and of course add PF & SD

Agreed - but it's not easy to forget that this is the same band that inflicted 'Dweeeemer' on the world

I like everything you have all suggested so far. I think I actually have all of it on my iPod. I like most anything Rock, Rap, Hip Hop, Metal, 80's. My absolute fav. it VERY heavy metal. Im really into Lamb of God, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Mnemic, Mashugga etc. I can't stand country though.

Ahh... Morbid Angel, genius... Sandoval must be the best drummer out there, what a monster. "Blessed...", "Covenant" and to some extent "Domination" are on my "top 10 best ever albums" list until the day I die or become deaf!

Fear Factory is just not appealing to me. And Im not a fan of Serj Tankain's voice so System of a down is out as well. I do like the other suggestions though! I am also a huge Pantera fan! RIP Dime

I'm a big fan of The Clash, The Replacements, and the Stones, but I listen to a wide variety of stuff, a lot of alternative rock and punk, lately. Like many people, my music selection is mood-driven. I have a fair share of reggae, contemporary bluegrass, and just plain pop/rock as well. I really enjoy music.

BTW, this may seem impossible to my friends across the pond, but I have never heard of the band Camel. I had to look them up. It looks like I'm a bit too young and my American-centric blinders a bit too big for me to know that band. I'll have to check 'em out.
