Since I know some of you on here are into the nice juicy audiophile goodness, I figured I would mention that I just picked up a Bel Canto CD-1 CD player for my system and it sounds INCREDIBLE!!!!

Here is the player here:
http://www.belcantodesign.com/prod_CD1.html

Retail on this puppy is $5000, but you can get it for quite a bit less with a little negotiation obviously (much like watches! :D ) And it sounds like a dream!!! So so so smooth and so detailed, and even cranked up loud it doesn't grate my ears.

I am now Running the Bel Canto CD-1 to a Linar Audio Pre-1 and then to a pair of Odyssey Stratos Extreme Monoblock amps powering my Gershman Acoustics X-Cube Speakers. Freakin Amazing let me tell you...

Sounds good Admin!

But you should get this newly released Swedish amp.
http://www.thelars.se/

At a cheap $21200 per pair...

Geez that's just insane.... I wouldn't be able to run those with my speakers though probably.. 25W is more suited towards high-efficiency speakers. My speakers tend to need some decent current. Maybe like a nice pair of Rowland or Levinson Monoblocks.. those would set me back a healthy 3-4 Breitling for Bentleys too!!

I've run a few Linn components before, but didn't really sound right in my system. The Linn fanatics told me its because I needed it ALL to be Linn.

I have tried a Naim CD5 out before and it sounded fantastic! Just needed a change. I really like Naim source components in general though.
