Post subject:  Tried on a Brushed SS Blackbird yesterday...
I went to the local Carlyle & Co yesterday and they had one of the new brushed ss Blackbirds there. I have to say, I fell in love with the bracelet more than the watch! :shock:
It's a nice watch...a little small looking for me...but the bracelet is fantastic looking. It has all these angled facets...beautiful.
Anyhoo...thought I'd share my enthusiasms... :mrgreen:

besides my SA, that is my other favorite model that Breitling puts out.
I wholeheartedly agree... that bracelet totally makes that watch.
it is by far the most fantastic bracelet I have ever seen.

say, doesn't your Crosswind Special have the same bracelet or a very similar one?
at least it looks to be faceted?!
maybe its just more noticeable on a brushed version?

either way, I'd take the CS or the BB.

I ended up sending back the CWS. It really didn't impress me when it arrived. I like bigger watches and it looked a little too "pretty" for me. I ended up getting the Herc afterwards, and was totally happy with it. I will always have the Herc.
