Post subject:  LE Pluton Thunderbirds...

I have here something that I have never seen anywhere else on the internet or in person. My father bought me this watch back in 2001 or 2002 I believe. I wore it for a year or two, and then once I got my Aerospace it just sat with the rest of his collection. Obviously its dead now, but when I pulled it out the other day it sparked some interest in me.

I still have the papers for it, and everything looks legit. Im pretty positive its not a replica, but I'm not a pro and I could be wrong? The ref. is A51038 and on the back there is nothing but the thunderbirds logo, the ref and a 079/100 stamp, which would imply this was a run of 100 pieces. This thing has been sitting for years, and im not sure id even wear it again, but maybe ill take a trip to the AD for a battery and see how I like it again. It might be cool on a diver pro :?

Any info on this watch and whether it may be worth anything would be appreciated. Thanks guys

It is real, and it is a LE of 100.

In terms of value, these pieces are not any more valuable than regular models, in fact often slightly less because they have more limited appeal.

There isn't a lot online on many Breitling LEs, although I have been trying to pull a list together here - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4385

I missed this one and will add it now, although there is also a run of Chronomats with the Thunderbirds logo that I did put on the list - that's a run of 1,000.
