I have a question about the two hand totalizer. What is this? I know that there is one sub dial with two hands on it but what is the extra hand for on the second sweep? can anyone explain this movement to me. |

It has Caliber 27, an exclusive mechanism enabling dual visualization of measured times. On one side, the 60 minute totalizer with center pointer guarantees peerless readability of any measurement under 1 hour. For longer durations, a single two hand counter shows both the hours and the minutes. This means time elapsed is read off just as one reads the time, instantly and with no risk of confusion. ![]() |

To answer the question without quoting the chronolog....... The 9 o'clock totaliser has both chrono hours and chrono minutes on it rather than having a separate dial for each. |

Thanks guys, I went to my AD and looked at a white dial. Really nice looking. The movement is sweet, very fine touch on the pushers and the sweep is smooth. It will definetly do a 1/4 sec. I think it will be the next in my collection. |

Once you get used to it, you really miss it on other watches that lack this feature. |

The skyracer has one less sub dial. Does the Herc have a GMT sub? What is a good deal on a like new Skyracer? All boxes and papers... |

The Herc has a 24hr sub, but it is not adjustable, so doesn't serve as a GMT. It only serves as a 24hr AM or PM type of subdial that stays in sync with the hour hand. |

I suddenly feel like I need a Skyracer. Reading forums is bad for the addiction. |
