Is this a real or fake 375A bracelet?

https://www.chrono24.no/breitling/lenkerem-chronomat-375a--id19229282.htm?checkoutId=3581487

Looks good to me, but I notice the numbers W 44 10 inside of the bracelet. Is this the production time, like week 44 in year 2010? I have seen this exact same numbers on fakes.

Help me out. I ordered the bracelet, but has not picked it up yet ...

Can't comment on the numbers, but that cellophane wrapping, the little red arrow and the way its positioned is very reminiscent of Chinese made watch bracelets

Short story: it is a chinese Noob replica. I have been in a dialog with both seller and Chrono24. They told me - as a buyer - to "provide an official document from a Breitling representative" to prove it is a replica. Thats just nuts.

This is my last e-mail to Chrono24:

Quote:
Hi,

I still don't want this fake bracelet. I ordered a Breitling bracelet, not a chinese Noob replica.

The solution sendt to me was: "please provide an official document from a Breitling representative" to prove the bracelet is a replica.
If I send a replica to Breitling, I don't expect to get anything in return. The last thing I would expect is that Breitling would return the replica with an official document, stating that this was a nice replica, please feel free to sell it or return it to the owner.

So I wonder if Chrono24 will protect the seller of a fake or the victim. And what the consequences are.

The seller says he bought the bracelet on eBay, then he sells it on Chrono24.
A new item from Breitling would have documents and an original packing. For some reason the documents are gone, and the new plastic wrapping happens to be the same as Noob. And the number inside the bracelet W 44 10 happens to be the same as on Noob.

On top of this the seller sent it so I can't refuse the package.

If you want, I can send the bracelet to Chrono24.

All the best,
Roy

"interesting" position from Chrono24!?!
you'd expect them to:
1) be knowledgeable enough to determine what's genuine and what's not...
2) want to offer buyers some sort of protection against fakes...
3) want to protect their own reputation (after all their website (https://www.chrono24.co.uk/about-us.htm) boasts about "Authenticity Guaranteed"!!!)

good luck and please keep us posted!

cheers,
pg

PS: next time, check before ordering... :-/

It became a long dialog and story ;)

Short version part 1:

I got a fake. The seller did not want it back. Chrono24 showed the solution: "please provide an official document from a Breitling representative" to prove the bracelet is a replica. And I cannot send the bracelet to Chrono24, I was told.

This I did not like.

I mailed what you see in my last post to Chrono24. Then Chrono24s attitude improved (puts the responsibility on the seller to make all the necessary verifications that the bracelet is not a fake), and I and the seller got this mail from Chrono24:
Quote:
We have been informed of doubts about the authenticity of this article.
It is important to know that without a written confirmation from a certified watchmaker of the brand, we cannot act or decide.
Also, it is the responsibility of each seller to make all the necessary verifications before listing an item on our Platfrom.

The seller now want me to return the bracelet. And Chrono24 mail me this:
Quote:
We were notified that you agree to return the watch for a refund.

My answare was:
Quote:
Who told you this?

It is wrong to support the trade of counterfeit products. By returning the replica to the seller, he will just sell it again to someone else. Maybe even on Chrono24. I hope for a better solution.

I still have the bracelet and told the seller of the fake this:

Quote:
I see three serious problems:
1. You tried to fool me: take my money and leave me with something worthless. And you didn’t stop even when you where caught red handed.
2. I am in a possession of a counterfeit.
3. You still didn’t send me the new Breitling 375A bracelet.

I expect you to send me a new Breitling 375A bracelet, provided with an official document from a Breitling representative.

The story ended with Chrono24 not letting the guy sell the bracelet to anyone else on Chrono24 without papers showing it is a real Breitling product. That is if I was willing to return it to him. And this was the only way to get my money back.

So I returned the bracelet, got my money back. And I haven't seen the seller on Chrono24 after this.

No.
I didn't want a guy cheating me, do the same to others. I wanted to destroy the bracelet, but then I would not get my money back from Chrono24.

At least he wont be selling it at Chrono24 after the interaction with me.

Good on you for standing your ground and helping out the community. I hate people that try to sell fakes as reals.
