Need help! I suddenly found myself unable to pull the crown of my Ling (Chronomat Evolution) to position 3 to adjust the Hour/Min hands. Didn’t wear the watch for a while so i adjusted date and time. I was able to adjust the date and time once, made a mistake on the date so tried doing it again. After the first change, suddenly i can’t pull the crown to position 3. Is this a sign that i could have broken a gear? i really hope not! |

It sounds like you may have unseated the keyless works. The stem will not engage the gears if the setting lever is in the wrong place. Easily done on the calibre 13. I think you'll have to enlist the help of a watchsmith... |

Try giving the crown a little wiggle while turning(not violently). Just dont force it, best thing to do is take it to a watchsmith. |
