I really like this, Breitling always has so many really nice straps and no way to ever see them all or find them since most dealers don't carry all of them in stock.

This could be bad for my wallet being able to see all the options and wanting to try out a bunch of new stuff :) I already have a box of straps that I don't even want to know how much money I spent on all of them.

Kudos to Breitling!!!

So, yesterday I ordered a new strap on the Breitling website. It arrived today! In fact, it appears that any strap purchase comes with next day delivery (shipping from BUSA).

When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised. The strap came in a folding fabric case, with two pockets on each side. It's a perfect travel case for anyone who is inclined to bring along a couple of extra straps to change things up on a trip. Also, free with purchase, was a Breitling strap changing tool.

All in all, I really have to hand it to Breitling on doing this right!

I love to be able to buy straps (and bracelets) online from Breitling.

But is this one step to make the brand cheaper and more available?

The site does not work well on my computer. Some links to straps works, some not. Those with no size options seem to give problems; the pop-up window shows the strap and the button "next", but the button does not work.

Try it on 227S Black Ocean Racer Rubber Strap 22 mm if you like.

So Breitling got back to me about the price difference and apparently when the site was launched, they forgot to charge for the buckles. Also, the spring bar took was only offered for free for the first few online orders and will now cost $25 going forward. I just looked and the rubber strap I ordered last year is back up to the $150 that I was charged last year for the strap and buckle.

So everyone can hate me now that you’ll have to pay for your buckles.

I think for one thing they are (sensibly) copying a direct competitor in Omega, who made their natos available online a while ago and which has proved very popular.

PS I assume this is USA only (many posters refrain some saying where they are) as I can't see them available on the UK site.

Anyone know if Breitling spring bar tool worth the $25? Or better to get one off eBay?

I’m trying to order the right Diver Pro III black rubber strap with buckle and tang for my SuperOcean II 44 that came with the metal bracelet originally. But there’s different model numbers for the same strap? 152S and 153S. There’s even two types of 152S’s. One has an extra “S” in the model number. Which one is the one I need? I swear I even saw a 151S out there. Thanks - Mike

I think you want the 152S. The 153S is shown with the push button clasp.

I received my own package in the mail today with the first strap from the new online site. Like Jim mentioned, the packaging is very impressive.

The first one of probably many that I'll order eventually was the dark blue nato. I did receive the Breitling spring bar tool which I would recommend if you don't already have one.

The fit and comfort of this strap is amazing. It's extremely light on the wrist and I love the detail in the stitching. The outerknown logo is a bit tough to see but I'm also taking these pics indoors. This will be the perfect summer/vacation strap for this watch or any blue dial that Breitling makes. I was nervous how the darker strap would look with the white subdials but it fits perfectly. If anyone is on the fence on these Econyl straps, I'd really suggest giving them a try.

Thanks Driver. I think the light blue nato would also be a great one to have but it’s not offered in 22mm yet. If you haven’t checked out the econyl straps yet, I highly recommend them.
