I purchased a new Colt Chrono Auto, which I’ve just sold - it was also listed here -
And was told the warranty paperwork was valid. The new buyer is doing what I did initially and questioned whether it was in fact warrantied. It is marked DGNY LLC and hole stamped USA G.

I see very little mention on the web beyond a few cryptic posts here and some relation to Govberg Jewelers. I’m going to call Brietling USA and confirm tomorrow, but was hoping someone here could shed some light for me?

I was told they’d still honor the warranty by dealer when I purchased, so I’m hoping that’s truly the case. Otherwise I’ll be refunding the buyer and getting the watch back.

Should’ve done my research, lesson learned.

Thanks,

Ty

What you described is a watch that was sold by a division of Govberg watches. A couple of years ago Govberg's bought WatchuWant, an online dealers in various watch brands. It has since been named Watchbox, many of the watches sold by Watchbox use the cardboard warranty booklet. As long as it is within the past two years, the warranty period of the colt line, then the warranty is still valid. If it is dated more than two years ago then the warranty has expired. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

The warranty should be fine. I have the same paperwork stamp on my Chronomat Airborne that had warranty work done without an issue.
