Have the B01 superocean heritage chronos started shipping to ADs yet? I know there were 2 different dials shown initially but have they made a decision on which one to go with? I think the number of words on the dial were the difference.

Will they ever offer the countdown bezel on more Navi 01 models than just the limited editions?

The P-40 Warhawk is starting to look interesting, adding bezel markers and a little color to the dial.

they should be out; Govberg should be among the first to receive them?
assume you mean the hour (not countdown) bezel on the 8? mid term I'd be surprised if not.

Agreed. It's a cool looking variation, and it's amazing what difference a little dash of colour makes.

@Fred - is there ever any discussion at Breitling about making any no-date B01 models? I know the 3/6/9 layout makes date window positioning difficult, and unless they fancy going the Omega route by "hiding" it in the 6 subdial, there aren't a lot of aesthetically pleasing locations for the date. So personally I'd rather not have a date at all if it's a choice between 4:30 or none.

@driver8 - of course the date has been discussed, but still considered a necessity for “main stream” watches. on limited editions, on the other hand....

I’ll have to ask George at Govberg if they’ve gotten any in yet. I’m in Wisconsin so I’m nowhere near them but I’ll actually be visiting their location in Naples, FL this week so I’ll have to ask.

Yeah, sorry for not being clear but I was hoping for more bezels like on the Mr Porter limited edition.

 I'm not a total heathen, Fred!

No, in all seriousness I actually like modern interpretations of vintage pieces - I'm just very driven by instant impressions on whether something immediately sings to me or not. It could be a modern piece, it could be a reinterpreted vintage piece - I'm not fussy about the era....but I am fussy about what I like.

That said, I am more than prepared to publically eat a huge slice of humble-pie if I change my initially-formed opinion on the new Premier when I see them in the flesh. :)

Hank the Cod has retired, Driver8.
There's a lot more to come and I'm confident you'll like some of the new stuff in the end ;)

Definitely like the P40 Warhawk. I've been waiting for a green dial military style watch for some time. I do think this piece would look more appropriate with a black bezel which would be more in line with a military subdued look.

Agreed, it's a very cool looking piece. Personally I like the polished bezel on this one : the only thing I'd change is the date - either not have one at all, or hide it in the 6 subdial. Apart from that, I really like it.
