Below is a wrist comparison shot between a Chronomat Evolution (left) and SA2 (right).

I keep hearing that the SA2 is a poor match for anything less than a 7+ inch wrist, and mine is right around 6. And yet.....the SA2 still looked pretty good to me. Granted I'd have to remove enough links to probably make another bracelet....but the watch is really sweet. Never did I ever consider that I'd be in the market for one of these suckers, or for its baby brother the Avenger 2.

Thoughts? Does the SA2 look silly? I cannot tell, but I'm not really objective.

I think the SA2 is too big. It looks like the lugs hang over the side of your wrist.

Personally I think both watches look too big on your wrist, but it's a close up photo that exaggerates the size. That said, wear what you like and ignore anyone else's opinion.

It's strange.....I own everything from a CSLE 42mm to a Navi 46, and by popular acclaim all would probably be 'too big' for my wrist. But I wear them proudly and wouldn't go any other way.

There was just something about the 48mm diameter on the SA that I thought might be...too much. But the redesigned lugs on the SA2 make the fit much more accessible, at least that's my view. Gonna be a tough decision.

I love the 48mm, I also have a 46mm transocean unitime that's 46 and a 48mm navi GMT, good luck with whatever choice you make, there all nice

I have to be brutally honest, the SA2 looks ridiculous on your wrist, even the chronomat looks too big.

Saying that, if you like it then go for it.
Everyone said to me that the Super Avenger was too big for me when I purchased it 7 years ago, but I loved it.
However, over the years, I started to grow tired of the size and the weight as a daily wearer and sold it.

When I had my Super Avenger on the leather as opposed to the bracelet and found it wore smaller on the wrist, something to consider if you want to make the SA2 more wearable.

IMHO it does look big on yr wrist, but not to the extent of ridiculous looking. I appreciate watches based on what they are designed for and in this case the SA2 is meant to make a statement on the wrist and also a useful tool for pilots. Also I am a "not so classic" person when it comes to fashion and outer wear so I personally think that it looks fine on you. If it is really too big and to the extent of weird looking I think you will be personally put off yourself. So wear it in good health
