Can anyone on gods planet help,

I have a monbrilliant limited addition 125 / 2000 with a crocodile brown leather strap.

On a recent vacation it fell into the sea but was luckily recovered.

It was sent to Breitling for an insurance estimation, £4650.00, our insurers agreed and away it went again.

The watch when purchased had an ivory coloured face that complimented the brown strap beautifully. The same watch is on their website

This is where the nightmare begins, my watch returned from Breitling with a silver face and looks awful, the jewellers acting as the agent have been in contact with Breitling and Breitling have told them my watch had a silver face originally and they have never done this model with an ivory face AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They have even told our agent, the watch on the website is really silver, not ivory, its just bad lighting from the photoshoot !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried every angle to contact Breitling, called their UK customer service department but to no avail, i now hate my once beautiful watch.

Is there anyone out there with a monbrilliant with a ivory face.

Please help

My Montbrillant has a silver dial although under certain light conditions it looks like a off white...

Three photos different lighting for comparison.

Do you have a before and after photo of your watch?

This watch is on ebay at the moment it is an exact picture of what my watch use to look like, Breitling are telling me this face never existed on this watch.

Hi . I have a 2011 2012 chronolog and price list and the 01 limited edition and the montbrilliant 47 are only available with a Mercury silver dial . Except a 47
with a black dial. Did you buy it new or could it have discoloured when you purchased it? Hope this is of some help even if it is not what you may have wanted to hear

Could it also be the shade used then vs now? I ask because I also own a Rolex Day-Date and I did notice on the champagne dial that there were different shades used throughout the years but it was still called champagne.
From what the OP posted the two dials do look quite different.

Here is another angled picture where dial looks more silver (I think most of the 'pictures' of this watch on the web are not actually pictures but computer renderings)

The watch bursts beautiful mercury silver dial and elegant hands

Here it looks like the dial is matching the colour of outer ring

And another one

Have you got 'before' picture of your exact watch ?

Many thanks everyone for your posts,

I am pretty sure what the situation is. my watch being a limited addition came with a white face, 4 years on when it went to be repaired they have no more left and subsequently replaced it with the standard issue silver face.

The last watch in hunterfate"s pictures is a dead ringer for my watch apart from the rose gold. A white / ivory face not a silver face.

To make matter worse, the link below is from Breitlings actual web page. I must be going mad because the monbrilliant looks like it has a white / ivory face to me, yet Breitling assures me its a lighting issue!!!!!!!!!

The picture of my watch added earlier is clearly visible as SILVER.

My biggest grip is, if they don't do this face anymore why didn't they tell the insurance company and just scrap it. Then i could have bought a new watch.

If you go to Breitling's site and 'build' your watch, there is only an option for the Mercury Silver dial. I think you should contact a higher up rep from Breitling to try and get this situation resolved.
