I am sending my Navitimer 1461 Jours (A19030) to Breitling for service. On Breitling's pricing it just says the price attached "with estimate". I just wanted to know if anyone has an idea of what I should expect for a complete service of this piece? Thanks in advance.

It depends on whether or not they swap out the complication module. A lot of the simpler chrono modules can be easily serviced by the shop which adds a couple of hours of bench labor to the cost. Otherwise, they exchange the module with Dubois-Depraz who will then service it and put it on the shelf for the next exchange.

At a minimum, I would count on the chronometer service fee plus another $150, or so.

I have the Olympus that uses the same complication module. On mine, the hour register hand does not return to zero. It works fine. It is just consistently wrong at zero.

When I get time, I'll pull it down to see what I can find. However, I think these units are sealed. If so, it is back to the DD shop. I could probably reset the hand, but there's little point in a teardown if you can't service it. $$$

Please keep us posted on what they quote you.

Complete service of this watch is about 1300 cad and I believe 8-9 weeks for return.

Here is a post from someone on the forum who had a recent service

Thanks for the replies.

My watch is not winding at all. Someone told me the mainspring is probably broken. I will feel better sending it to Breitling and just having it serviced.

It is being shipped off to breitling today. I will keep you posted on what they come back with.
