I had always wanted a brushed Blackbird so I made myself one. I can always polish it back if I want to but I do not think I ever will.

Nice job. What grit did you use?  These are the tools I used to brush my Blackbird. I removed the bezel and brushed it off the watch body. I also masked off the chrono pushers and crown. I tried to copy the pattern of the brushed finish as accurately as I could from a 2010 Breitling catalog. chronolog, but decided to change it up a little when it came to the parts to be brushed. Thanks for the positive support. Took me about a year to work up the nerve to attempt this and a lot of practice on old butter knives. A couple of other shots of the watch. Be safe, Frank.

Very nice work. Blackbird's are stealthy and made to be brushed. Breitling erred by making polished versions. Again, very nice. Mat |

You've got balls of steel there Frank to attempt that!  You've done a really great job though as personally I've always felt the BB should be brushed just because of what it's named after. |
