Hello, this is my first post here, firstly what a great site!! ive done much reading here over the past few months!! Im now hoping for some help. i have a breitling chronomat from around 2006, i have managed to break the spring under the bezel, i think its called the click spring. is there a breakdown of the chronomat anywhere so i can locate the part number? it would make it alot easier to get the part.... or if anyone knows where the best place to get the part i need from that would also be great :-) the model number of my watch is b13050.1

thanks in advance for any help

mike

Not sure about the part number, but the watch is much earlier than 2006. Probably mid to late 1990's though it may have been sold much later.

Welcome aboard.

Unfortunately you're going to struggle to get hold of a click spring from anywhere other than direct from Breitling..... and they won't sell you just the part so you'll have to send the watch in for a repair (and the inevitable service that they will require to be carried out) I'm afraid.

The only other option you may have is ebay or chrono24 where people occasionally sell parts, but that'll be totally hit and miss if one comes up.

You might try reaching out to Alex at Swiss Watch Service in Bay Harbor, FL. They're an authorized Breitling service center. You might get lucky.

Search the various online retailers. I have an SO II that I bought with slightly damaged rubber insert on the bezel. I was able to purchase a brand new bezel, including click springs.

That's definitely a change to Breitling's usual stance on supply of parts...... which has always been to simply not supply any parts to customers. I wonder if it was more a case of a friendly AD rather than any kind of policy change......
