Was someone after one of these a while back? On eBay if interested. Breitling Avenger Sixty Nine Rattrapante Limited RARE I won't post the link but that's the title if you're interested. |

Driver8 and I are both very keen on the Chrono Avenger Rattrapante, but we both want the calibre 34 mechanical - only 25 of those were produced. This is the far more common, and less desirable Mechaquartz calibre 69 - 600 of those and they show up every couple of months. Havn't seen the true ratty in a very long time. |

Check ![]() Thought it was one or both of you pair - I hope you don't mind me classing you together as you're like the "City Fathers" - barring the Source themselves of course! To good to be true Roff - I'll keep my eyes peeled. ![]() |

I think the CA ratty is in hiding with the elusive Chronomat Lancaster - funny really, because now that economic reality is setting in and I can't justify more purchases is exactly when I expect them to appear!! |

I was thinking about the D Mans (yes that sounds OK ![]() I hear what you're saying about the present climate - I'm fortunate to be in a better position at the present time - being a self employed consultant is OK when companies need things done but don't want another body on the payroll! There's a SOH for sale which would be mine if I hadn't just spent £400 of my fund on a watch to sell on - bad timing ![]() Now could be the time to expand my collection! ![]() |

So you are the source of my problems!!! As the owner of a management consulting firm I lose out to the independents in tough times because the value add of IP, methodology, etc loses out to the lower cost of independents. I knew I didn't like you ![]() I guess we are way off topic now, but heck - it's a DB mechaquartz - when will Breitling learn? ![]() |

But then Roff will too....... and considering that I've never seen one for sale, there would likely be a mad rush to get. (And probably by quite a few other Breitling afficionadoes elsewhere as well!) |

I thought "Roff and The D Man" sounded like a 70s cop show. "Book 'em Roff!" "Right back at you D Man, and by the way, groovy bell-bottoms my man!" That's how I saw it anyway. Sorry to venture off topic. ![]() |
