Post subject:  Regional Rep coming to Palo Alto AD on Dec 14th

Hey all,

I was in the AD yesterday and they told me that the Rep is going to be there Mid december. I have been reluctant to pull the trigger on getting the SO Heritage Chrono, and was wondering if this would be a good time to do it. They are saying that there will be some pricebreaks when she is there, but I cannot imagine that it will be more than about 10%. Does anyone have experience with events like this?

I ask because there is about a $1K price difference between AD and online (4800ish vs 3600ish).

Is there any significant reason why I should go with the AD if the online sources are reputable?

Thanks,
-Ben

10% on SOHC is awful. You can definitely do better through contacts on here.

Well, they made sure to tell me there were going to be pricing incentives. If they can beat 3500, I am hooked!, but the delta from 4.8k to 3.6k is about 25%.

That seems to be a lot, doesn't it? and then add on top sales taxes..

Sales tax alone would make me buy elsewhere. Even if you save 20%, you're still going to pay sales tax on top of that. If you need an out of state AD, check your PMs.
