Post subject: | Regional Rep coming to Palo Alto AD on Dec 14th |
Hey all, I was in the AD yesterday and they told me that the Rep is going to be there Mid december. I have been reluctant to pull the trigger on getting the SO Heritage Chrono, and was wondering if this would be a good time to do it. They are saying that there will be some pricebreaks when she is there, but I cannot imagine that it will be more than about 10%. Does anyone have experience with events like this? I ask because there is about a $1K price difference between AD and online (4800ish vs 3600ish). Is there any significant reason why I should go with the AD if the online sources are reputable? Thanks, -Ben |

10% on SOHC is awful. You can definitely do better through contacts on here. |

Well, they made sure to tell me there were going to be pricing incentives. If they can beat 3500, I am hooked!, but the delta from 4.8k to 3.6k is about 25%. That seems to be a lot, doesn't it? and then add on top sales taxes.. |

Sales tax alone would make me buy elsewhere. Even if you save 20%, you're still going to pay sales tax on top of that. If you need an out of state AD, check your PMs. |
