Welcome aboard.

That's an interesting project you've got there, but I'm very curious as to how the case and everything else ended up being separated from the movement.

Unfortunately sourcing a genuine B44 movement is going to be an extremely tough ask, and if you don't go with a genuine B44 you'll be creating a franken-watch which you would have to be completely up-front about if you ever came to sell it.

As an interesting exercise, I wonder what Breitling might say if you suggested sending it in to them in it's current form for a service! I assume that if everything else is 100% genuine then they MAY put a new movement in for you. The cost will be err.... "substantial" of course.

Unless you got extremely lucky on eBay or somewhere like here or WUS, then you are going to struggle with this I think.

Hi, the watch won't be sold on I am quite happy with the franken thing makes no difference to me, it's a great case etc and even if it only has the base eta / dd module that's fine as long I bring the project in under £1200 or so. I purchased the watch /case online for £500 I too would like to know where the movement went! :-)

Another member with a virtually identical username has started virtually identical threads. Seems to clearly be a breach of the rules over multiple usernames for the same member so that individual's threads have been deleted and that member banned.

I have not used a forum before, I messed up the password user name thing was not aware of breaching rules. Sorry, I meant to say do you own a breitling chronograph? I realise the case with no movement has not gone down very well but just thought I would ask if anyone had a module or movement. I have no plans to sell the watch completed or not or con anyone with a franken watch, just a waste of a nice case etc.

Ah right, yes I own a few Breitling Chronographs - an one with the B44 movement actually (a B4B 6.75)....................., but the movement's not for sale.

Hope you have a bit of luck finding one.

Rubix I did see a Breitling rotored 7750 over on WUS. If that will work it sounds like it is mostly together. Good luck.
