Hello everyone!

Ever since I sold my gray dial Avenger in late 2013 to fund my fiance's engagement ring, I've been dying for another chunky Breitling and I think its time to pull the trigger on one. Just wanted to check in with the experts to make sure I am making the right decision. Looking at a pre-owned Seawolf II in excellent condition (96-98%), gray dial on pro III bracelet. What are your opinions on buying pre-owned versus brand new? Obviously I dont mind buying pre-owned even with a few marks on the bracelet because I will be wearing it almost daily anyway.

I can't seem to find a NEW Seawolf II on pro III bracelet for under $3k (AuthenticWatches.com).

So what do you guys think?
Thanks in advance!

Well that's 10 months longer than the warranty you will get with AuthenticWatches! I think most of us have bought pre owned at some point and it certainly avoids some of the depreciation you get buying new.

Oh, I had no idea when buying from AuthenticWatches they did not come with a factory warranty.
I totally agree about the depreciation, sort of like buying a current year pre-owned vehicle with some miles on it 8)

That sounds like a good deal, I would do it. I love the Seawolf, I've owned two and would love to add another sometime down the road

Grey market dealers like AW never (well almost never) offer factory warranties. They offer their own in house warranty but as they aren't authorised that's worthless other than for replacement or refund.
