Hello guys,

I just bought an Colt II Chronograph yesterday. I noticed there was a plactic sticker on the back of the case with a model no A7338710/BB49 which i think most of you guys know what are these numbers means. But that's not the issue.

There is another information on the sticker mentioning a date 'March 2013'. I forgot to ask the AD about it. I'm not sure what is the number about. Some guy told me this is an expected date where the battery will need replacement and some guys told me this is the installation date for the battery. But the watch still works fine as like new watch.

What do you guys think?

That's a date when AD should change a battery if the watch wasn't sold by then.

Yep, so if you bought new you should check with the AD whether they did actually change the battery and if not negotiate for a free replacement when that one dies.

It's double protection - firstly to minimize the chance of the battery leaking and secondly because quartz pieces are often left running at an AD.
