Post subject:  I got one.....
Well just a quick post to let you all know that i went to the AD last night and bought me a LING :) :) :) :)
They had the very one in the window that i was thinking about buying :P

I got me an AS with black face and Pro strap. It most definatly spoke to me as soon as i put it on my wrist :) i had it on for about 10mins in the shop, real happy with my choice and i had it up against the Chrono-mat and in my eyes there was no contest.
The RRP in the uk was £2760 and i was in 2 minds about asking for a discount but i thought what have i got to lose he can only say NO, so off the younge guy goes to speak to a member of managment and comes back with the offer of a 12% discount which took it down to £2430 (Just under) so i um'd and ar'd and said do it for£2400 and i'll take it away now.
SO HE SAY OK :) :) endded up with a 13% discount which i though was not bad for the UK.
Very pleased with the service i receive in the AD and i get to take it back whenever i'm there shopping and have it cleaned free of charge.

I gotta goto work now :evil: so i'll get some pic's up later....

I think you made a great deal for a UK purchase, I'm sure Driver will let you know...

Excellent. Glad the decision was easier than you thought. Sounds like a good discount for the UK as well.

Congratulations, well done on the discount, better than any of the AD's I contacted would give me!

Don't want to rain on your parade but by my reckoning and I think Driver8 will agree you probably could have saved another £300 if you had purchased from across the pond. I know you have struck up a relationship with your AD and if your not to worried on the saving I'm sure you will be quite happy anyway.

Well done on the new watch I hope you love it as much as me.

Congrats on getting your AS -- you're gonna love it! :) But it's a
real pity you Brits can't get a decent discount on Breitlings.
Here in this backwater state of Michigan, I've been able to get
25-30% discounts on Breitlings and Omegas . I guess I've
just got a winning personality :lol: Enjoy your watch.
