OK guys, here it is.

I promised I would post this as quick as I could, and now I can.

The sales person that I deal with at my AD has just been promoted to become branch manager of another store. That location is going through some changes and in an attempt to rebaseline their stock they are offering a limited time enhanced discount structure.

My AD knows about my presence on this forum and has agrred that I can make you aware of what she is prepared to do for people that I introduce. So.....

For the next couple of weeks or so anyone who uses my name when speaking to the manager will get 40% off Canadian list. I am not making any money on this, but will post two very special watches in the sales area which I will be making money on if they sell.

For Ontario residents - prices will be subject to GST & PST

For non Ontario Canadian residents - prices will be subject to GST only

For non Canadian residents - prices will be subject to GST at 5% but I believe that you can claim this back from the federal government by filling out one of the non resident forms - you'll need to satisfy yourselves.

As examples:

Navitimer Olympus, blue dial - $5,500 (not the Montbrillant

Flying B Chrono - brown or the salmon like colour thing (maybe others) - $10,000 shipped to the UK with the 5% GST included - Driver8 are you listening?????

If you are interested PM me for the contact details, but please - serious inquiries only - this is my reputation with the AD and I don't want them inundated with questions who aren't seriously prepared to buy.

Please also look at what I'm going to post in the sales area - they are two very special pieces, and they are the way that I'm going to make some money on this!!

I can't get a post increase price list - I have the pre-increase at home.

Broadly speaking they are similar to US list in pure dollar terms and the currencies are close to par.

So, I'm looking for a new Super Avenger black dial with the new batons on a black Ocean Racer. If I need a price on this out the door shipped to my door in San Diego CA, how would I get the pricing info?

PM me and I'll give you the contact details. Tell them that you were referred by me, and if they have access to the watch they'll tell you how much it will cost - they obviously can't do this on special orders.

If you like the price give them the credit card number, they'll ship and the receipt will break out the 5% GST which you should be able to apply to the Canadian government for a refund on. If I remember correctly the SA on OR comes in around $4,500 so you should be able to have it for $3,000 or so including the tax and shipping / insurance costs. - $2,850 or so if you can get the tax back.

Yes, also 40% off - don't recall specifically whether they have a blue - but several 6.75s

I don't recall - they definitely have some Colts though - they have around 200 Breitlings.

WOW! This is a great discount. I was shooting for a minimum of 33-35% off in my GB, but this is even better and already laid out. Its like a drunken stripper. :D

How long will this discounting last? Will it only be for stock on hand? Does anybody know what the import or duty tax % for the U.S.?

Man do I seem to be popular - but no offers on the other two yet :cry:

The offer is only for stock on hand - they can get creative moving stock from store to store, but not for new orders - but as I said - there are two hundred in stock.

You'll need to check with the US feds about import duties for the US - the other way is 5% plus applicable sales taxes. Don't have an end date for the offer - but I'm guessing July the something.

Incidentally, there are other brands there - a few Zenith (including a gold Multicity) and quite a lot of Oris that stand out - same discount.
