| Post subject: | Has the Superocean Steelfish XL been discontinued? |
I've been thinking of trading or selling my Super Avenger for a Steelfish XL. Have they been discontinued? I'm hoping not! I had one a couple years back, and it's a Breitling I really wish I never sold. |

Yes the Steelfish has been discontinued. It has been replaced by the SuperOcean 44 which most people around here don't rate as highly. There may be a very small number of Steelfish in ADs but the word is they're getting pretty scarce; people have been buying them because they're considered a Breitling icon. You can still find good ones second hand in places like the sales forum here. |

Thanks for the reply. Thats disappointing. Hopefully they bring it back when nobody buys the superocean 44. I had the 42mm version when it was called the Superocean 2 "abyss". I got sick of it fast. |

I thought the Steelfish XL Plus was only 2006 - after that just the Steelfish. I got a Steelfish in 2010 - love it - the best weekend beater ever made. |
