Hey Guys,

Im going to be in NYC over the Easter weekend, and wondered, other than the Breitling flagship store on E 57th, is there anywhere else you would recommend worth a visit?

Im probably not going to buy a watch (in case the UK Customs pounce on my return :guns: ) but straps and a watch winder are on my shopping list. I really like aftermarket straps, so if anyone knows of a good watch retailer with some high(ish) end leather straps thats worth checking out, let me know.

Also in the Boston (and East Falmouth) area 10-15th Apr if there is anything in that local.

If anyone has a collection they would like to show me, even better

Just wear the watch on your wrist and mail yourself the box.

Not too much in the East Falmouth Area for watch dealers. There is a jewelry store in the Walmart Plaza that may still carry them. Not sure though. Don't forget to visit Martha's Vineyard While you're here. Beautiful Place.

I recently went to NYC and will highly recommend George from Govberg jewellers.
Told him what I wanted he got it delivered direct to my hotel no problems whatsoever.
When I received my SA I took it to Breitling on 57th st to have the strap adjusted they were really helpful and nice adjusted the strap in less than 10mins didn’t charge me (I had full intentions to pay)
Customs? I took a chance and brought the box in my case through they didn’t give me a second look, lucky I guess.

But well worth speaking to George he is based in Philadelphia and he gave me a great deal and it was sales tax free.

Hope this helps Jay

In NYC, go to Kenjo on Wallstreet! Ask for Artice.
He always has nice Breitlings/IWC/... in store at good prices.

Just be prepaird, Artice is tough!!

By the way I second the fact that Govberg Jewelers is FANTASTIC to deal with. I dealt with Lisa specifically when acquiring my first Breitling, the Bentley Motors with Anthracite Dial and they were GREAT! George was also a part of the transaction and he answered all my questions and was very accomodating. Kudos to both of them.

In Manhattan (NYC), its really either the Boutique, Tourneau or Kenjo.

I go to the Boutique for all adjustments (which are free) but buy from ADs outside of the city. Prices are steep in NYC because of the amount of traffic the dealers get. I usually test-drive pieces I like at the Boutique before purchasing else where since the selection is deep and the environment is great. You can grab a couch hang out and they will unload a dozen watches on a table for you to play with. Definitely the best place to find the model you want, just not the best place to buy since full retail price (plus 8.875% sales tax on top).
